Father's Day

We had such a great Father's Day!

In the morning, Eleanora got in some play time with Carsten (he spent the night). My goofy girl has turned into a total cheeseball...if you pick up a camera and say, "Eleanora, smile!" This is the face she'll make!

Trying to smile while Carsten demands a kiss,

One of many kisses,

"smiling" again. My little piglet makes me laugh so hard, I say to Bryce all the time, "What did we laugh at before we had Eleanora??" Because nothing is as funny as this girl.

Then we put on her finest Twins outfit and took her to her first ever Twins game! Bryce was so excited that when we parked he left the car running! He got out, grabbed the diaper bag and began walking/jogging to the elevator. When I reached in to get Eleanora from her carseat, I heard the hum of the A/C.

Me: "Bryce, did you leave the car running?"

Bryce, walking back towards the car, "Oh, um, haha, yeah I guess so!"

Me: "Alright, you need to calm down!"

Daddy and his little lady outside the Dome,

Eleanora joined the coaching staff,

(Where's Eleanora?)

Eleanora really had a great time. She spent the game clapping whenever the crowd cheered, kicking the girl in front of us, pulling her ponytail, waving to anyone she saw and trying to feed the people around us Cheerios.

Our attempt at a family photo,

Bryce took out Eleanora's new Twins book to teach her about what she was seeing,

Once we got home, she totally crashed. It is very rare that I get to see her asleep in her crib. Even if she's asleep when I enter her room, the door and entry way are so creeky and loud that she shoots right up to greet me. But the game really tired her out and she didn't wake up to Bryce and I coming in her room, so I grabbed the camera to take photos of how freaking adorable she is napping,

After we roused her from her sleep, we went out to dinner at Outback. Here is she again after I asked her to smile,

Bryce said his first Father's Day was awesome. Eleanora got to see the Twins play at the Dome, see her first homerun, and try her first Dome Dog. It was pretty much heaven for him to share his love of the Twins with her today.

Happy Father's Day!

Goofy Girl

I am amazed everyday how many goofball faces this girl makes.

These were all taken in one meal!

And finally being tickled under her chin by Daddy before he picked her up,

She's such a ham!

Eleanora's Baptism

Sunday was Eleanora's baptism. It was a gloomy day weather-wise, but it was a wonderful, very special day for us.

Here are some pictures of us before we left for the church,

(she loved the dress, it gave her a built in toy in the form of a puffy skirt)

Me and my girl waiting for the ceremony to start,

Eleanora being baptized,

Eleanora and her Godmother,

Eleanora and her Godfather,

My Godmother, me, Eleanora and Aimee,

Great-Grandpa Kucko,

Grandpa Ron,

The Kimbrell ladies,

John, Gary, Keaton, Nisa, Kate and Nora,

After the baptism, Eleanora received many wonderful gifts, and had lots of help opening them from big cousin Carsten,

It was a great day, Eleanora has many people who love her and wanted to share in her baptism. We are very lucky!

Highlights

I am really behind on blogging aren't I? So here's a few highlights since last post.

Amy, Carsten and Travis came over last Friday and I got to watch Travis (yay!) while Amy, Carsten and my mom went to Sam's Club for party supplies. I love this picture of Carsten, this is a classic Carsten face,

A very serious Travis modeling,

Saturday was Carsten's 2nd bday party. Eleanora was anxiously awaiting the party,

Carsten opening his favorite gifts, "Cars" cars and carrying case, which happen to be from Auntie Katie and Uncle Bryce,

After he was finished opening his gifts, it was a cousin free for all to help him play with them!

Yep, that's right, the birthday boy was so in love with his favorite gift he brought them with to cut the cake,

Later that weekend, we caught Anne cuddling with Kirby. Now we have photos, mom, you can't fool us, you like her!

Tuesday Eleanora had tacos! Well, beef, cheese and soft tortilla shell, she LOVED it.

Wednesday we took Eleanora to the library. She wouldn't give up her sheep and pig, so we had to bring them with (notice one in each hand),

She played with Libby the Library Bear (sheep still in hand),

She played with the puzzles,

Snacked on Cheerios,

And spent a lot of the time crawling around, pulling the books off the shelf with me chasing behind her picking up (no photo of that!)

She was pooped, so she relaxed in a bean bag chair until Mommy and Daddy were ready to leave,

Thursday night, Uncle Kavan had a short lay over here in the Cities, so we met up with him for a bit. He hadn't seen Eleanora since Christmas, so a lot had changed since then!

Eleanora did what she always does when she's trying to check out someone new, stuck her fingers in his mouth!

And I'm sure Kav won't appreciate this picture, but I like it! Bryce sometimes says that he sees a little bit of Kavan in Eleanora, and I never saw it. But this picture I can kinda see it, same hair color, same eyes, similar thoughtful look on their faces...

Eleanora was absolutely dying to get down and crawl around. I was not all about my little girl that loves to put anything and everything in her mouth, and who is not above licking the floor, crawl around the food court at the Mall of America. But Uncle Kav obliged her and took her for a walk,

Before we left, we realized my debit card that was on my food tray had gotten tossed in the garbage while Kate was clearing the table for everyone (my fault, she didn't know that's where I had left it). So Bryce had to get it for me,

Don't worry, the card was retrieved! So there you have the highlights.
