Random

This is a very random post, so bear with me. I've been told to keep updating the blog by my faithful followers that I didn't know I had, so I thought some recent pictures might be appreciated! No rhyme or reason, just random photos from the past few weeks. Apparently Eleanora is so cute that not even London can distract from missing her (hopefully these can hold you over until next week Malia).

Spaghetti night,

Needless to say, the removing of the shirt was preemptive and a very good call. She went straight to the bath after dinner.

Just Eleanora toddling around,

With her beloved paci before bedtime,

Mommy and Eleanora, such a cute grin :)

When did my little baby turn into a toddler sitting in a chair, eating graham crackers with her sippy cup in her lap?

A giggly Travis,

adorable.

As you may know, Bryce and I were hired as on-site managers at a building Uptown. We'll be moving the 2nd weekend of August. Once we get the keys I will post pictures of our new place!

That's all for now, folks.

Playdates w/ Playmates

Eleanora has been a social butterfly lately. It just so happens that two of my friends have baby girls born within 2 months of Eleanora. We're talking very old friends here, known them for 10 years and over 20 years! (Yikes, I am old enough to have been friends with someone for over 20 years?)

Here is Eleanora with Emily, Angie's daughter, (apparently posing identically)

How cute, holding hands!

Emily's mom and I were on dance team together, so we might just have to get our two little girls in the same dance class in a few years. Thanks for the photos Angie!

We also went to Mary's house to hang with her kids. Here is Eleanora and Lily snacking,

(I love this look from Nora, like "enough already mom!")

Eleanora took a ride in Lily's car,

Lily was not so sure about it,

Really though, Eleanora is the one who needs to learn to share! She seems to think every toy is HER toy.

You might be seeing more of little Lily and her siblings on the blog, I will be providing childcare for Mary and her husband Jon starting next week. I am very excited to spend some time with Mary's awesome kiddos and teach Eleanora to share! It will be so cute watching her and Lily grow together.

Duluth

We went to Duluth last week before Bryce started his new job (he LOVES his job, by the way). It was wonderful and relaxing. We so needed it.

The view from our balcony,

Eleanora found the remote right away,

We spent most of the first night on our balcony and in our room relaxing with our goofy girl,

The next morning we hung out by the Lake, taking it all in,

Getting ready for a day at Canal Park,

She was so excited about Lake Superior. She squealed with excitement when the waves crashed.

We sat throwing rocks for nearly an hour she loved it so much,

The world's crappiest restaurant high chair,

She slept like a champ even though she had never been in her pack n play. This is how we found her in the morning, (no her baby doll was NOT placed there, that's how we found her!)

We brought this portable highchair thing we got for free from someone's curb, it was perfect for traveling, worth every penny!

Views from the place we stayed. Ahh, makes me wanna go back.

4th of July Fun

Two posts in 3 days, can you believe it? Trust me, reading this whole post will be worth it, big accomplishments at the end!

July 3rd, we went to Grandpa Gary & Grandma Joann's for a pool party! Eleanora got to try out her new floater and, as you can tell, she thought it was pretty awesome!

Her cousin Sophie got to see Eleanora for the first time since she visited us in the hospital,

Ellie was pretty smitten with her,

The 4th we went to the farm to celebrate Justin Gatti's 1st birthday. Grandma couldn't resist Eleanora's plea for cake, and man did she enjoy it!

"Please Grandma, can I have some more?"

She took full advantage of the birthday boy abandoning his new gifts to get his diaper changed,

Swinging with Daddy,

We took her to meet the horses, she was thrilled at first, then one sort of blew out of his nose right on her face and it scared her!

Then we went to the other Grandpa's pool, which was less crowded than the day before, and she just got to hang out,

She's an awesome swimmer! Kicks her legs and splashes her arms across the pool (luckily she didn't inherit her Dad's swimming skills!)

Enjoying her first popsicle with Mommy while waiting for the fireworks to start,

She was not too impressed with the fireworks, in fact a little frightened at first, but she warmed up to them and was clapping by the end. Watching with Daddy,

Cutie in her jammies,

Finally enjoying the fireworks,

And the highlight of her first 4th of July, her FIRST STEPS!!!

For weeks she's been on the brink, but never had the courage to move her feet. Last night before the fireworks she decided to take 3 wobbly steps! Daddy was glad he got to see them, he was sure that his first day of work is when she would decide to take her first steps.
