September/October Events

Past month catch up: We celebrated Miss Lily's 2nd birthday at the end of September. There was a balloon twister guy there and Eleanora was in love. As you can see, her and Lily got ladybug bracelets to match Eleanora's dress.

Lily's newest cousin, Willow (she is a giant, I think she's only like 6 weeks old in this pic)

Presents!

 Eyeing her cake,

Happy birthday, Lily!

We also celebrated the wedding of my cousin Aaron and his bride Lily. These pics are in backwards order...deal with it. I'm too lazy to switch them all around b/c Blogger is very frustrating when it comes to picture layout.

Nora got her groove on,

It was such a beautiful wedding. Perfect weather, lots of room for all the kids to roam and play lawn games (apparently Eleanora has a love of frisbee we didn't know about) and lots of love in the air. So happy for these two!

And Eleanora has a brand new cousin! Baby Jack is here! We are so thrilled. I was a hysterical mess, combined with being 24 hours post wisdom teeth removal, so excuse my puffy chipmunk face!

Everynight we ask Eleanora at bedtime who she wants to pray for - she usually says Grandpa or Grandma, mommy or daddy, etc. - or lately "Gray-Gampa" (great-grandpa). But each night since he was born, when we ask "Who should we make sure to pray for tonight?" She says right away, "Joey. And baby Jack" Then last night she added "And LeeLa (Malia)"

Welcome to our family little Jack! You are such a blessing. I can't wait to watch you grow.

Baseball and Ballet

Last weekend I bought Eleanora a baseball glove at a consignment sale, and Bryce wasted no time taking her out to play catch.

Saturday was dance class again, Eleanora is doing great! She is warming up more, listening to the teacher with only a few bouts of shyness that send her asking to be picked up by mommy or daddy during the class. It's so good for her, that's the thought that runs through my mind every class. She's home with me all day long, doesn't see a ton of strange kids much, never has to listen to another adult that's not a family member, etc. When we pulled into the parking lot Saturday she yelled "Yay! It's dancing class!!" So we know she's enjoying herself.

Here are about a thousand pics from last week. Daddy danced with her while I took pics this week.

Just wanted to post those pics before I forgot. I've still got to get around to posting pics from Aaron's wedding and Lily (little one, not Aaron's wife) 2nd bday party! Stay tuned.
