So, I stock up the diaper bag, put the stroller in the trunk, and bundle up this little lady:
And we head to my old stomping grounds, Southdale. I spent 3 years of my life here, folding sweaters, cleaning out dressing rooms and dealing with complaints I had no control over (prices, what sizes were in stock, etc).
Nora deciding which stores we should hit up today:
Eleanora usually browses her favorite clearance racks,
She loves scoring a good deal!
We have to stop for a soda. I can't walk around the mall without a fountain diet coke, not sure why.
Eleanora gets an aerial view of the makeup counter at Macy's while riding the glass elevator,
After a long day of window shopping, she was happy to come home & see daddy.
Saturday afternoon, Eleanora and I went to Nisa's baby shower (no photos as I forgot my camera was in the diaper bag). We discovered that she does NOT enjoy when a group of loud women break out in laughter...she was very scared! We played a few shower games, guessed the stats for Ben & Nisa's baby (April 13th, 7 Lbs 8 ozs was our guess) and had a good time. We had to leave a little early to pick up Bryce & head to Uncle Paul & Auntie Jackie's for lunch to see cousin Kathryn who was in town for a few days. (I just noticed I didn't actually take a photo of Kathryn...man I gotta get better at this if I am going to blog).
Eleanora made herself right at home:
Played with Malia,
was adorable,
and worked the room. (sorry about this pic, Malia, but Eleanora is adorable in it. It's the price aunt's have to pay I guess...plus the first pic of you was gorgeous so you can deal)
Eleanora is SO BIG
Got a shot of her with Great-Grandma before we left. Doesn't Vivian look stylin? Pin strip pant suit with pearls? She looks ready to close a business deal.
And we met their husky puppy Tess for the first time,
After we left there we ran a few errands. Needless to say, Eleanora was pooped.
So exhausted she didn't care when her pacifier fell out, now THAT'S tired.
So far today we've done a whole lotta nothin. Laid around in bed most of the morning playing.
And for those of you who don't believe Eleanora likes Kirby:
We had a great weekend
