Christmas 2010

Man, you guys will not stop bugging me to write a blog post! I know it's been a long time, but I think I've run out of things to say. Please, if anyone has any suggestions of what they'd like me to write about here, let me know! Since it's been so long and the thought of uploading a ton of pictures right now is daunting, let's start with the rest of December and I'll try to get around to Jan/Feb very soon:

this is not an uncommon sight around here, Nora insists her babies use the potty:

 cleaning with daddy,

Nora and I made caramel rolls Christmas eve before we left for midnight Mass,

We got Eleanora in her jammies, grabbed her lovies (paci, blankie, pup pups) and headed to the Basillica for Mass at midnight. It was probably the highlight of our Christmas, it was so great.

My baby passed out shortly before communion and stayed asleep all the way home and straight into her crib. I am so glad we decided to brave midnight Mass! It was so worth it and she did fantastic.

Christmas morning!

While Nora was ripping presents, our caramel rolls from the night before were filling our apartment with a delicious smell and we devoured the pan as soon as we were finished with every gift. Caramel rolls plus hot chocolate for breakfast was heaven!

A week or two before Christmas, my mom, Eleanora, Auntie Mary Beth, Malia and Jack went to the Macy's Christmas thing (what's it called?). We used to go every year together as kids, so it was fun to bring our kids!

So there was our Christmas (you know, minus the actual Xmas gatherings as I didn't bring my camera to any of them for some reason)

It was such a fun age for Christmas! Nora was really into Santa, and kept asking while she was opening gifts "Santa came when I was sleeping?" She really understood it, which was so fun.

More to come (if you're lucky!)
